The Platform

During the
World Economic Forum week

House of Romania establishes a dedicated national platform in Davos, Switzerland during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2027 week, a structured environment for engagement at the highest level. It embeds Romania within the operating environment of global leaders, investors, and policymakers, enabling meaningful engagement on capital allocation, strategic partnerships, and regional priorities. In a context where influence is built through proximity and precision, House of Romania ensures the country is not adjacent to these discussions, but actively integrated within them.

House of Romania operates as a coordinated platform bringing together government, private sector, and international stakeholders within a single, structured environment. It is built to facilitate direct engagement, support high-value interactions, and enable tangible outcomes, from partnerships and investment opportunities to strengthened institutional relationship, while reinforcing Romania’s position as a trusted and active participant in global decision-making.

Why Romania, Why Now

Romania is anchored in a long-standing tradition of cooperation within the Euro-Atlantic framework, as a committed member of NATO and the European Union, with a consistent record of alignment with Western institutions, contributions to collective security, and active participation in regional and international partnerships. This institutional continuity, combined with its geostrategic position on NATO’s Eastern Flank and at the Black Sea, places our country at the intersection of key geopolitical and geoeconomic dynamics. As focus shifts toward resilience, infrastructure, and capital deployment across Eastern Europe, Romania stands as a stable, credible, and increasingly relevant node within the transatlantic system.

Security & Resilience

Security of Eastern Europe is central to the European continent’s stability itself. Romania plays a direct role in strengthening defense posture, infrastructure resilience, and regional security coordination in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape.

Energy & Innovation

Our country’s position across conventional resources, renewables, and a strong engineering base enables us to contribute to Europe’s energy independence while advancing innovation in critical sectors.

Regional Connectivity

Romania’s geography positions the country as a critical node in the reconfiguration of trade corridors, supply chains, and strategic infrastructure, driving major capital flows and accelerating regional integration.
